Web maps and web scenes are now available in discussion boards
ArcGIS Hub discussion boards were released earlier this year, and we hope you find them extremely useful. Our team is constantly working to add capabilities and enhancements to the discussion boards feature. The latest update in this effort is the ability to add web maps and web scenes to a discussion board.
What's New and How Do I Access It?
Previous Capability:
Prior to this update, you were only able to use the default grey map in your board from the Details pane.
New Feature:
After this release, you can select a web map or web scene of your choice from the Settings pane.
How to Use the New Feature
1. Access the Settings Pane:
- Navigate to the Settings pane of your discussion board.
2. Select a Web map or Web scene:
- Browse through available web maps and web scenes.
- Select the one that best fits your discussion needs.
3. Enhance Your Discussion:
- Integrate the chosen web map or web scene to provide richer context and visual aids for your discussions.
By enabling the use of customized web maps and web scenes, we aim to enhance the interactivity and usefulness of the discussion boards. This new feature allows for a more tailored and informative experience, facilitating better communication and collaboration.
