Hey @Jianxia,

Are there any plans to implement the remainder of the WAB Smart Editor features into ExB Edit widget?

Current roadmap indicates smart editor functionality is included in ExB with the Edit widget - but this is only partially true. There are many features no longer available in the Edit widget and there is no response from Esri regarding this oversight.

Any response from Esri would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Fully agree with this request. The cut, union, reshape, attribute edit, select (including add/subtract from selection) and the undo/redo functions of the Edit widget in WAB are fundamental to our current organisational app deployment model, in which our users do all of their data editing within the Web App instead of relying on desktop software (like Pro). These functions are critical for our current workflows, and we will not be able to move to EB until they are available.

The Smart Editor widget "as-is" is not being migrated to Experience Builder. Functionality you are requesting will be provided over time through the new Editor widget, and possibly some more related tools; multiple teams at Esri are collaborating right now and fully dedicated to making this possible. We apologize that this is taking some time.

Thanks @AlixVezina,

We're eagerly awaiting the enhanced functionality. And very excited to have more tools in dev.

Any updates on this? Several organizations cannot/won't switch to ExB because of these missing functionalities, while on the other hand they are advised to switch by Esri.

Is there any indication when these functionalities will be available?

+1 on this. It is extremely important that these enhanced edit functionality (reshape, auto-complete, etc.) be available in ExB.

Thanks!
