Today we have started observing frequent (every 3 seconds) SEVERE server logs in our production servers.

Not sure what is going wrong here. We have a very critical Geocoding Service, but no one reported any issues with it yet, but the server logs are piling up with SEVERE logs.

Does anybody seems to have any idea what's happening here? This is our ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4 Production Server.

Hi @Yogesh_Chavan

I hope you are doing well. 🙂

SEVERE error logs in ArcGIS Server indicate critical failures or system-level issues that may impact service availability, performance, or stability. These logs should be investigated promptly.

It seems the geocoding service failed to return results, likely due to a service or session issue.

  • Restart the geocoding service and test again.
  • Review and adjust service instance settings. You can also check memory usage, thread pool limits, or service crashes.
  • Monitor server health and logs for recurring issues.

If the issue still persist. If required, raise a case with Esri technical support
