Just upgraded and everything went smoothly. But now trying to append data to a feature class and I get:

ERROR 001260: Operation not supported on table https://webgis.cushwake.com/server/rest/services/Hosted/zzyzzx/FeatureServer/0

Nothing is showing up on any of the logs in enterprise.

More Info:

  • ArcGIS Pro 3.5
  • ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4
  • It appears if I turn off "Optimize performance for feature services" appending works, but if it stays on appending fails.
    • Is there at least a way to default that option to off?

Hi @CW-GIS

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue, I have looked for this error and noted a defect (BUG-000157234 - The hosted feature service layer definition does not have the supportsTruncate parameter, resulting in the failure of the Truncate Table geoprocessing tool in ArcGIS Pro and the Truncate operation of the admin endpoint in ArcGIS Rest API fails to load when accessed through a browser.) which is logged against enterprise.

I would recommend logging a support case with your distributor if you haven't already to look more into this or whether it might be this defect, if it is, at the moment the status is In Product Plan.
