We are in the process of moving our ArcGIS Server Test environment to a new machine but we are planning on keeping the same server alias. I am assuming the existing .ags connection files should still work since they were set up using the server's alias and not the IP address. Just wondering if this assumption is correct or if anyone has had any issues reusing .ags connection files after a server move.
