Question for ArcGIS Server admins: Are you able to publish multiple map services simultaneously to a multi-machine ArcGIS Server 10.x Site without causing substantial performance/functionality problems?

ArcGIS Server Admins: Are you able to publish multiple map services to a multi-machine ArcGIS Server 10.x Site without causing substantial performance problems?

If you include version and basic architecture info that would be great. I have tried a variety of versions/setups and seem to only get simultaneous publishing to work on single-machine sites.
