I just published a basic map service and went to ArcGIS REST Services Directory and it not listed, but when I go to ArcGIS Server Administrator Directory it's there. What did I do wrong?
Randell, #2 was the problem. I installed Portal last month and forgot that I federated it. Thanks.
1. Do you have security applied at the service level or the folder level (the folder where the service is published into on ArcGIS Server)?
2. Are you using Portal for ArcGIS, and if so, is Portal Federated with ArcGIS Server?
3. Which version of ArcGIS Server are you using?
It should already be happening automatically when you create a service, but have you tried clearing the REST cache?
