Hi,

I'm aware that ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes is available starting from 10.9, but is it possible to deploy a standalone ArcGIS Server on Kubernetes using a 10.7.1 license? If not, what are the technical limitations other than not having the latest license?

ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes is a completely different product that was introduced at ArcGIS 10.9.  The functionality of ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Enterprise is being completely reimplemented to run natively in containers, so "ArcGIS Enterprise" and "ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes" are not the same product.  There has never been an "ArcGIS Server" product for Kubernetes, so this really isn't a licensing issue.

Thanks, Joshua!
I'm not a Kubernetes expert, so excuse my ignorance, but what is the possibility of using Amazon Kubernetes (EKS) to deploy dockerized ArcGIS Server Linux installer as explained in the below repos:

Hi, I know very little about Kubernetes, but I can say that you can't use an 10.9.1 'image' with a 10.7.1 license, which is what the original post seems to suggest.

In this last question it seems that you want to stand up an empty docker container and deploy ArcGIS Server into it.  I cannot say if that would work or not, from a technical standpoint.  I would suggest that you would not receive support as it's not a supported Operating System on the LINUX page.

I also note that you're discussing 10.7.1 which entered mature support in June 2023, with end of life in June 2025.  I would not advise anyone to consider deploying 10.7.1 in any form at this point in time, and if you must then stick to supported paradigms so that people can assist from known best practices.
