Cashed service fails to appear between 12,000 and 22,000 scales,

As a mosaic is published with the settings below, its service fails to appear between the 12,000 and 22,000 scales at particular locations. What is strange is that the service does appear perfectly at all other scales and locations

What might be the issue here?

Thank you

Jamal,

What you are facing were happening to us before.

What we did is to re-cache that under AOI between the 'missing' scale ranges and then re- import caches...

Hi larry,

I have just got a root answer from an expert.

All what you need to do is to increase “maximum number of raster per mosaic”.

Try it and let me know the result

nice, jamal,

how is the performance after increasing the number, compared to the earlier?

++++++++++++++

For that incident that we were facing, we guess that the operational mistake caused it, because we serve mosaic dataset from raster images with ‘pre-created’ caches as image service, where cache tiles were done under desktop, which are required to import after image service published…

The discussion thread is available at cache raster tiles in server vs. desktop
