I'm wondering if there is a benefit to ArcGIS users to all have ArcGIS Public accounts. If you have a public account and convert or link it to an Organization account, what happens to everything associated with the original account?
If someone leaves an organization, what happens with anything associated with that account? Can it get reverted back to a public account?
I'm mostly wondering how to best advise my agency's ArcGIS users. Is it best for them throughout their GIS careers to have a public account that they can convert or link to an organizational one? Or should they maintain separate accounts?
