ArcGIS 10.1 Web Adaptor on Windows 2008R2 Core?

Hello forum folk,

Has anybody out there successfully configured the Web Adaptor on a Core 2008 R2 OS?

It seems a good choice when deploying the adaptor in a DMZ but I can not find any information/documentation to support this.

We currently run our web adapter on windows server 2008 r2 without any issues.

maybe you could describe more specifically what you are concerned about if you require more information.
