Hi, I’m gearing up to install ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 for the first time. It’s a simple model – everything on one box and using IIS – so I’ll be using Enterprise Builder. My first priority is to use federation to have Portal manage security of our map services that our various web apps consume. I’m trying to figure out a good model for authentication/identity providers. Here’s what I need to do:
(1) The general public needs to be able to access most of our map services in our mapping apps and should not have to sign in anywhere.
(2) Employees should have SSO using their AD credentials, which will give them access to additional secured map services.
(3) Outside consultants should have the same access as employees, but will need to provide non-AD credentials.
Any thoughts on the best way to set this up? Thanks!
