I'm trying to configure the MapJournal app on a disconnected Portal for ArcGIS instance. I've followed what little documentation I could find on the subject, but can't seem to get the app to load. When launched it keeps defaulting to the local Story Map Journal web help page. Anyone else run into this?
So it looks like the application was defaulting to help page because I had the URL incorrectly set. It seems in order to generate a Map Journal for the first time you have to put "/index.html?fromScratch" at the end of the string. So for example it would look like this https://server.domain.com/arcgis/apps/MapJournal//index.html?fromScratch. This URL will take you to the welcome page for Map Journal Builder. Hope this helps someone else out there that runs into the same problem on a disconnected deployment.
