How to restore Portal after accidentally changing db content folder?

Hello,

I tried to change the db content folder of my Portal to something like //nasshare1/arcgisportal/ but as soon as the change was made I got a JDBC error and now my Portal isn't working anymore. Is there any way to restore it?

Here is the error I got just before Portal quit working: ava.lang.Exception: Cannot connect to database: jdbc:postgresql://localhost:7654/gwdb Connection to localhost:7654 refused.

I managed to fix it by reverting one of the Portal config files and reindexing but it was a scary experience.
