No matter what I put in here, I cannot click save.  I'm not sure what is wrong.

Hey there,

    Few things to try here (bear with me, they are a bit basic)

  • Try this workflow in an incognito window
  • Try this workflow in a different browser
  • Ensure that no extensions (adblocker) are currently running
  • Restart the Portal / Server services and try this workflow again

Please let me know if you see a change in this behavior.

Keep on keeping on!

I am having the same behavior. I have tried all the above steps, and I still cannot save (no error message, just click Save and nothing happens.)  Are there any other suggestions?

Can you attach any screenshots of the failure? If you include the new directories you can send the screenshot to me directly.

Let me back up and say that I only want to share a few services from ArcGIS Server to our ArcGIS Online account. So I am not sure if the webadaptor needs to be configured or not. So that could be part of the problem. Still, I click the save button, and nothing happens at all. The screenshot doesn't really help because there is no error message or anything. The save button is enabled and I can click it, but nothing happens afterward.

@AndyWells

So the web adaptor does not have to be configured with ArcGIS Online, but rather your ArcGIS Server. In this case, you would point the Web Adaptor at your server. I would strongly urge you contact Esri Technical Support to further assist you on getting this stood up.

I was actually able to get Web Adaptor set up correctly (at least it seems that way) but I couldn't point the sharing settings to the Web Adaptor either. Save button just doesn't do anything. I'll contact support.
