We have two ArcGIS server site (only one server at each site handling different load) and we have to federate them. now my questions

1. Can we federate both sites with on ArcGIS portal

2. Can we we F5 load balancer instead in ArcGIS web adaptor. from the different posts it seems with ArcGIS server it's okay but not With Portal

There is confusion in documentation at some places it says it can't be and some place it can be

ESRI folks please respond

Yes, you can federate both, assuming they're not active/active siloed environments, but unique sites hosting different services. If they're active/active siloed environments, you'll need to set up a multi-machine site instead.

And yes, you don't need the Web Adaptors, you can use F5 instead of the Web Adaptors.
