Hi, I have been toying around with the cloud formation template and would like inject some powershell script during (ArcGISPortalSingleAutomation). I have packaged some custom powershell module in Esri Image to create an extension of the esri 109 image from marketplace.
I have modified BootstrapWindowsNode so that next step would point to a step to executeScript. I am trying to update the host file before ConfigureArcGISPortalOnWindows run. However ps script doesn't appear to be running. I have no idea how to troubleshoot this. Cloud watch log and event logs show nothing. The first step of my script writes a log to a text file in c: however there is nothign there so I assume the ps script did not run. Can anyone advise? I am 0 experience with cloud formation and your patiences is much appreciated 🙂
