Hello -
I am a student working on a GIS Certificate and I recently purchased a $100/yr extension after my textbook free trial expired. I am using ArcGIS Pro 2.8 and the link to purchase the license was sent by our professor, shown below:
https://www.esri.com/en-us/arcgis/products/arcgis-for-personal-use/buy
I received the confirmation and followed the instructions. I noticed that I received licensing codes for ArcMap 10.1 but nothing for ArcGIS Pro 2.8. I am able to download and install ArcGIS Pro but when I open Pro on my desktop I get the following message (see attached screenshot). I go into my ArcGIS account and under licensing it shows nothing for ArcGIS Pro 2.8. Am I missing something? Is the link only for ArcMap and not for ArcGIS Pro? Please advise. Thank you.

ArcGIS Pro license is managed from ArcGIS Online (Named User).
Have you activated your ArcGIS Online account yet?
If not, login to https://my.esri.com
copy-paste the My Esri link with Fulfillment ID (that you received in your email) to the same browser.
You should get the option of activating ArcGIS Online with necessary instructions.
In case of any issue, please connect with Esri Technical Support to help you with the installation/ authorization process (included in your subscription).
Once ArcGIS Online is activated, you can navigate to ArcGIS Online > Organization > Members > Assign add-on licenses (to assign necessary extensions of ArcGIS Pro to the named user).

Thank you! Exactly what I needed to do!
Hi. I have this issue as well. But why is it that I don't have any add-on licenses for ArcGIS Pro even though it is stated that it should be included in my ArcGIS Desktop Student License? I have tried to contact the support team in any way but I did not get any response for a week now.
