The idea is to use your existing dashboard with other maps without having to create all the widgets again when changing the input map. Ideally, there would be an input layer for the whole dashboard and all the widgets would use it unless specified otherwise in the widget itself. operations dashboard for argis template

Great idea! I don't see why this isn't a thing yet.

@SimonSchütte_ct Hi Simon, could you please provide a link to documentation on the possibilities regarding editing and copying JSON in an Enterprise Environment? Thanks in advance!

@j_kuijvenhovenHi, take a look at the ArcGIS Assistant documentation https://guide.assistant.esri-ps.com/docs/ and take note of the warnings https://guide.assistant.esri-ps.com/docs/warnings

this would save me A LOT of time. creating a blank dashboard and copying the JSON works ok but an easier template option would be amazing!

How is this not a feature yet? This would save a lot of headaches.

Adding my vote into this.  This is a real brain scratcher when you want to use a dashboard as a template and point it to different feature views of a dataset.

Still not available?

The Dashboards Team is currently considering this. Expect to see more on this in 2025!

@MartinCopping is there any more news on this? 7 months into 2025, I'm about to write a script to recreate this process so news would be great
