Is it possible to use ArcGIS Companion without authentication settings? One of our customers wants to access his public ArcGIS Online platform on a mobile application.

Best regards,

Anselme

Hi Anselme,

> ... we want the public to download a mobile application and link to our ArcGIS online public platform and view the dashboards and applications we have created

FYI, did you know that with the recent ArcGIS Online update, the user experience for accessing ArcGIS Online in a web browser on a mobile device has been optimized? Perhaps you don't need an app?

Hope this helps,

The Companion app requires an ArcGIS Online Organizational account. It cannot be used with public accounts. Hope this helps!

Okay, do you have any suggestions for me for a mobile application that opens the platform with a public link

Anselme

Please checkout Explorer for ArcGIS, the mobile app that allows users to open and view public web maps.

Hope this helps,

Hi Derek Law

Thank you Derek Law, but we want the public to download a mobile application and link to our ArcGIS online public platform and view the dashboards and applications we have created.

As of version 2.4 - ArcGIS Companion does support public account.
