Add ppt, kml file formats in print widget

Hi all,

As of now, file formats supported in print widget are pdf, jpg, png,gif, svg, svgz, eps. There is a requirement of having 2 more additional formats like PPT, KML in the print widget. Request you to please consider adding these formats in the print widget soon. The two file formats are of high importance to our product.This can help people extract their specific data in the form of kml and then use/view it some other reporting tools like power bi, etc.

Thank you for adding categories Atul Malhotra‌ Since once of those is ArcGIS Desktop, you must be using either ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro. It is possible to convert layers to KML using Layer To KML (Conversion)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

I still don't understand the association with print. If anything this would be more of an export different file type. While layers can be converted to KML in ArcGIS Pro, Pro does not yet support map to KML. There is a specific request for that over here https://community.esri.com/ideas/15138 If you're working with ArcMap, Map to KML is supported using mxd documents.

Please refer Esri support Case #02610721 where we requested for our requirement of kml, ppt format in print widget in ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.11. As of now, kml and ppt formats are not valid output formats for the Printing service used in print widget i.e.

As per the recommendation from Esri support executive, we have posted above requirement as an idea on Esri Ideas portal.

Thank you. The main confusion stemmed from the fact that this was categorized as an idea for ArcGIS Desktop, and it does not make sense in that context. I updated the Category to JavaScript API.
