(From Charles Convis emailed announcement): "This meeting is intended to be a gathering of conservationists who are applying or interested in applying GIS technology to their efforts. There will be a large number of Arc/INFO users in attendance because of the following week's ESRI 1994 user conference in neaby Palm Springs, where there will also be demonstrations and paper sessions on conservation applications.
