Using the Geoform template, is it possible to receive automatic updates when a new entry is added?
I posed this same question to some Esri reps. They all said this requires the GeoEvent Extension for ArcGIS Server (Real-Time Data Feeds and Sensors (10.3 and 10.3.1) | ArcGIS for Server). So you may be out of luck if you are trying to do this all inside of you AGOL Organization. The alternative they gave is to write a script to aggregate new entries, then automate it to put the data in an Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS | ArcGIS.
If you download and host the app you can can leverage something like Mandrill or Mailgun when the users submits the entry.
