ArcGIS Online Sign In using Organizational SAML account?

I didn't have any trouble changing the ArcGIS Online URL to point at my organization.

I was able to sign in using a 'standard' ArcGIS Online account that is linked to my organization (that has a username and password)

...

BUT I couldn't find any option to sign in using our Enterprise managed SAML (single sign on) accounts.

e.g. Set up enterprise logins—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS

Am I correct in assuming that ArcGIS Earth doesn't (yet) support this?

Hi Cam,

Yes, you are right. ArcGIS Earth didn't support this in V1.1. In V1.2, ArcGIS Earth will support sign in using Enterprise managed SAML account.

Where can I find relevant instructions?

I just installed ArcGIS Earth V1.2. There is not obvious way to configure Earth for enterprise account.

Hi Ben,

If you have an account of Portal using SAML authentication. You can sign in to this Portal without configuring anything in ArcGIS Earth V1.2. There will be a login prompt for you to input your account, like the attached picture.

Thanks for the promote reply.

I don't get the Portal login page with the two buttons like the attached picture. Instead, I get a black pop-up box with the following content and rough layout:

A username and password are required to

access arcgis/sharing/rest on https://

[host]/arcgis/sharing.

Username:

[input box here]

Password:

[input box here]

OK Cancel

Are there different versions of ArcGIS Earth V1.2, ie. an enterprise version?

Hi Ben,

ArcGIS Earth V1.2 only have one version for all the users. I think the difference is the security of Portal.

ArcGIS Earth V1.2 will sign in to your Portal in different ways according to the security of the Portal, without any configuration in ArcGIS Earth. Maybe your Portal use Integrated Windows authentication(IWA) security, so you get the black pop-up box. You can check the detial from About configuring portal authentication—Portal for ArcGIS (10.4.1) | ArcGIS for Server
