Operational Layer without ArcGIS Server

Question

Hello,

I am experimenting with the "Summary Viewer" template in ArcGIS online.

I am not using ArcGIS Server and just host services on ArcGIS online.

When I attempt to use this template I get the message "No Operational Layers in Web Map"

Is there a way to create an operational layer without ArcGIS server?

Hi Derek,

I did a quick test and was able to load a webmap where the operational layers were hosted feature layers. Could you please send more details about your problem?
