Decrease polygon size by %

Anyone can share a suggestion/code on how to decrease polygon size by a % of the distance of each vertex to centroid? Something like a % scaling.  cheers

Hi Nicolas,

Two things come to mind:

• if you run a find nearest analysis, the output will have a distance value.  you could then use that distance value to display your polygons with.  Find Nearest—ArcGIS Insights | Documentation 
• have a look at the link map visualization.  you'll likely have to first join your data together or prepare it to have two spatial fields (one for the vertex and one for the centroid).  once you create the map though, the line width can be used to symbolize a numeric value (like distance).
