This week, we did a short 3 hour course on Getting Started with Story Maps. The participants were super excited and left with high anticipation for the creation of their very own story maps. As story maps has several templates, we showcased the Cascade and the Map Journal. I may be a bit bias, but these are in my top three. My other favorite is Map Tour!
I appreciate sharing the fact that absolutely no GIS experience is needed to create a story map. Therefore, we had persons from PR and communications departments sharing that they find comfort in using this trend-setting technology to share their information. This was meaningful to say the least!
