Have attributes from 1 point that display on map. Can't select it.

Turn off all layers and Attribute text remains on screen.

Try and select it. Most likely it is a text element on the layout.

Yeah, I never put the 2 together… But working through everbody’s suggestions got me there!!

The missing bits... SDE and edit mode ...

Actually it just got fixed it… It has not been selectable, but I tried one more time and it let me delete it!

I realize that I was trying to select it in editor mode. However the Item was not in the the SDE I was editing!

Duh....

you are sure they aren't graphics?

What if you open a new dataframe/map view and copy the files to there, one at a time... checking as you go... does it still persist?

It looks like a ghost of an attribute table. Did you try a save and reboot, and reload?
