Hi,
Anyone know what happened to the maps services that were hosted under this link?
https://igems.doi.gov/arcgis/rest/services/igems_haz/MapServer
They used to work till last week? We use it to display hurricanes and weather data from it. It was the best service available.
https://igems.doi.gov/
The Igems services were retired apparently.
I would contact the website manager on the page about whatever replacement they may or may not have for it.
Thanks.
I am looking to replace them with below NOAA services that matches with USGS provided.
Weather Watches/Warnings/Alerts is below,

For Hurricanes is below,

Thanks Hilary. Appreciated it. I began to use those.
A lot of the same data (and more) is found here, and they have links to most of it so you can grab the REST services. nowCOAST™: NOAA's Web Mapping Portal to Real-Time Coastal Observations, Forecasts, and Warnings
They did indeed retire the public facing IGEMS on June 30, and have no plans on replacing it currently. It was displaying data that is readily available elsewhere and so was not worth the cost of the upkeep. Let me know if you need any other resources of where to find information like they presented!
Thanks Jeff. I wished, I would have been able to attend the UC. Never been to one before. If you or someone you know is attending UC, please pass this question to them. Thanks again.
If you're at the UC next week, ask them.
Thanks Ken.
I just noticed that they have the Current National Weather Service Watches, Warnings, or Advisories service, which is very closed to how DOI services were.
I am still looking for the Hurricane Services.
Depending on what type of weather and hurricane data you're looking for, NOAA has several map services:
NOAA's National Weather Service
nowCOAST™ Information Depot
Just emailed them about services being down or retired already. Also asked them about the alternatives. Will post their response as soon as I hear back from them. Thanks.
If they do respond, would you please mind sharing the response here? I occasionally used that server as a data source so if they have a replacement in the works I would love to know about it as well.
I did find this:
eq/sm_ShakeMap30DaySignificant (MapServer)
Folder: /
Thanks Ian. Will contact them and see if there is any alternatives.
The whole server appears to be down (try navigating to the top level of the rest services directory). Given the current administration, who knows what's going on. I'd suggest contacting someone in that particular program to ask about it.
