upgrading to arcgis 10.7

hello there I was wondering  when you upgrade from 10.6.1 to 10.7 arcgis desktop, can you tallk back to the  sde database if its on 10.6. server using a  stand alone license? Also if you are using a concurrent license  and you install 10.7 desktop can it sync and work with  server 10.6?  Thanks

Hi Devarsi,

You can connect 10.6 geodatabase from 10.7 ArcGIS Desktop which is compatible. You can sync and work on it without any issue .  Please check the compatibility matrix as per below web help:

However, we recommend to be on same version for both ArcGIS Desktop, Geodatabase and ArcGIS Server for taking advantage of new functionality available and bug fixes.
