editor OF / FOR widgets

Is there an editor OF / FOR widgets? I am looking to change an output from the Understand Impact widget from a numeric to text. I have parcel data with a tax map key field. It should display as 12345678 not 12,345,678.

The widget itself indicates the field is not a numeric when I try to alter the output, see pic1.
Yet when the widget returns results, there are commas, see pic2.
