I installed SystemMonitor configure an AGS but this does not report anything to the help requested that the connection on the collector is cool but it does not work.
If you look in the top right hand corner of the UI there is a button labeled Sync. If you depress this button it will tell the agent it needs to look for new items. This should solve your problem. If this does not solver your problem you can also try to restart the "SystemMonitorAgent" windows server.
