Selectively changing page orientation within a map series

I have a large map series and I would like some of the pages within the series to be in landscape orientation and some to be in portrait orientation. Does anyone know if there is a way to have different orientations for different pages of the same map series? mapseries layout orientation

Hi Shannon, 

You will not be able to change the page within a single map series.  You can use use two different layouts (one for each orientation) where both have the same map series. You could then use python to "stitch" together the final map series PDF.  Please see MapSeries—ArcPy | ArcGIS Desktop for more information.
