i am trying to inatall ArcPad Data Manager Toolbar

i am trying to inatall ArcPad Data Manager Toolbar Version 4.00 For desktop ArcGIS 10.2 and abort with the message : Installer abortion because a prerequisite ( ArcGIS10.2 is no installed on this computer. Bur ArcGIS 10.2 is unstalled and running on mt computer.

I am a student and i am running it on my computer at home

- type of license yearly rental

ArcGIS Desktop suite comprises of ArcCatalog and ArcMap. So, if you have already installed arcgis desktop that means you should have access to both ArcCatalog and ArcMap on your computer.

How to launch ArcCatalog/ArcMap

Go to Windows Start.

If you are using Windows 10, 8, 8.1 you can simply search for ArcCatalog or ArcMap and click on the icon and launch them.
You can also try to navigate to ArcGIS Folder and click on the icon to launch ArcCatalog or ArcMap.

I just want to confirm that have you installed arcgis desktop 10.2 on your computer? I am afraid it is quite unclear if you are running arcgis desktop 10.2 or not.

If you have installed it, please share the build number. You can follow the steps mentioned below to get the build number: -

Launch ArcCatalog.
Go to Help.
Navigate to About ArcCatalog.
Take a screenshot of the window that pops up.
