Why doesnt da.TableToNumPyArray support datetime objects?

NumPy arrays support datetime objects natively, so why no support in this tool? The geometry object I understand not supporting, though I would prefer to have a the geometry automatically convert to SHAPE@XY like in a cursor when accessing all fields with '*'.

Old...but, don't know about datetime, but I use numpy to generate all types of shapes.  there a number of links on the python place and on my blog if people are looking for examples
