Trying to make a geoprocessing service that creates a report

Question

I'm trying to create a geoprocessing service that creates a report. I began with using the arcpy.mapping.Export Report but soon found out that it does not work published to a geoproscessing service. Does anyone know of a way to make this work or other options for creating a geoprocessing service that will generate a report?

Good to hear from you! Thanks I will look into this. I had not though about looking into the ArcGIS for Local Government stuff for this functionality.

I don't know much about geoprocessing services, but this app uses one to create mailing labels:

Maybe you could copy and paste or see how that app uses one.
