Current Version of Basemap in Arcmap

When will an updated version of the imagery basemap be available in Arcmap? The current one if from 2017. Thanks.

Hello Zola,

Based on the information found at the URL below it appears the World Imagery basemap isn't collectively updated but rather updates occur on different individual images which compose the basemap.  You can use the Identify tool to find out the date of when the last update to that particular image tile occurred.
