Append Annotation

It has been a year since I appended annotation in Pro. I found the append tool but I am a little confused. It is asking for an annotation feature to make the append instead of a geodatabase. I thought you updated the geodatabase and then appended the annotation? Please explain. Thanks.

Hi Michelle,

The Append Annotation tool takes multiple annotation feature classes and then combines them into an existing annotation feature class or a new annotation feature class in the geodatabase.

Could you explain a bit more where you're running into difficulty?
