Is it possible to change the background of the SceneView?

Question

I want to turn the SceneView star background transparent is this possible? I tried almost everything and the only thread in this community is this. But it's old and it doesn't work for .net.

Aaaah AR. I see. Making the stars transparent wouldn't be enough though. You would probably need the surface transparent too. That's not possible either.

Having said that, AR is a thing we're hoping to add to the API (I can't share specific timelines but it's totally possible).

You might want to consider using City Engine to create your 3D scene, and then render it using Unity who already have support for things like ARKit and ARCore.

No unfortunately there are both technical limitations and huge performance issues with doing so.

Perhaps you can share why you need this - we might be working on stuff or already have other approaches that accomplishes what you need.
