When attempting to create a Relational data store I receive the following error: java.lang.NullPointerException
I am unsure how to proceed.
Hi Kelly, have you resolved this? Otherwise, the install may not like the GIS Server naming convention?
this error happened to me once. i click back button and tried another time and worked.
I got the same error. It went away when I upgraded the .netframework to the latest version on my server machine.
Thank you, I will attempt that later this afternoon.
Has anyone solved this issue?
I have not yet solved this issue. We currently are just running non-editable (SDE) data on our Portal

Thank you very much!

Hi,
I think the problem is, as seen in the images, the content directory is not specified. For some reason the path was not configured, or it was configured, but in the final screen it is not taken into account.
I suggest uninstalling ArcGIS Data Store, delete all folders related to Data store including the content directory if it was created, and reinstall.
Best regards
