Average Drive Time (Network Analyst)

Hi all.  I have a large number of customers (1.7million) and 500 business locations.  I want to find the average drive distance from customer to business  Whenever I use Closest Facility in Network Analyst, I get no errors, but the no results.  It's almost like the process times itself out after only a few seconds.  Is this too much data to run this analysis?

There is no need to run such a large dataset.  You will not save any time running it once over setting up a batch process to run it in realistics batches or iteratively one at a time.  Time a small batch of OD or CF and estimate the total time if it were to run at once.  Monitor your memory useage during this process and I am sure you will find that there is a threshold between time and memory that any additional contributions to the analysis will result in quiet failure.
