10.0 ArcMap - Where has Create Features from Text File gone?

In ArcView/ArcMap 9.2 and 9.3, I used to use ArcToolBox>samples>Data Management>Features>Create Features from Text File to read in XY(Z) data to a shapefile and the data could be displayed in the ArcMap data window. The ESRI textfile format is pretty strict but if you crossed all the i's and t's, it worked.

We now have ArcEditor 10.0 and ESRI "Help" says the Samples Toolbox is deprecated, and I should trawl thru the Geoprocessing Resource Centre (??).   Can someone, hopefully from ESRI, please explain how to now import any XY(Z) textfile data to create features, or more preferably to read the original ESRI textfile format? 

Like many other ESRI customers we have gone thru the licencing authorisation nightmare with Arc10, so what extra product licences might we need?

I'm not sure if the Create Feature from Text File tool had greater capabilities, but I add XY data by:

File > Add Data > Add X Y Data...

Thanks for the response. I pulled up the Add XY Data window per your suggestion, added coord system and navigated to the .txt file with some data in it. Not sure what I'm supposed to put in the X and Y Field boxes? Also the OK button is greyed out - I wonder if this is aimed at a different type of input data?
