Is there a way to rotate point symbols in vector tiles?

I've been working with vector tiles some, but ran into an issue with symbol rotation.  I authored my map in ArcGIS Pro, and then created my vector tile package.  Upon viewing the package in both ArcGIS Portal or ArcGIS Pro I noticed that my symbol rotation was not applied.  Do vector tiles support symbol rotation by a value in a field?

Does anyone have an answer for this issue? I am also having the same problem with a vector tile package in a .net Quartz Runtime application.
