I'm using ArcMap 10.7.1 on my desktop computer and I am having multiple problems. First, in order to update any changes made in data view, I must click on the map with the cursor. This problem occurs when adding shapefiles, in editor mode, and when zooming in and out. Additionally, when I am in layout view, I can insert things such as North arrows and Legends, but I does not show up on the screen until after I have sent it as a PDF. What is the issue and how can I resolve it.
