linking to new images on my storymap

Hi, I discovered that one of my older storymaps https://www.arcgis.com/apps/MapTour/index.html?appid=c4035547a4aa40a7aaf54b78e3dd5f57  has a few images that are no longer displaying. I tracked down the problem to the source images having been updated to use https.  I tried to replace the url with the new/correct url but get an odd response. "Enter a vaild picture URL. Starts with https. Ends with jpg.png, gif or bmp, or ent the URL with #isimage to override that rule." This is the url that I am trying to use 

https://www.digitalarchives.wa.gov/do/CA530F22EF902AF1E7ACFDE0F1FE7E5F.jpg 

Which starts with https and ends with jpg.  I've tried adding the #isimage tag but that didn't help either.  Any suggestions?

Hi, I can add your image into a Map Tour OK, either by adding a new place or editing an existing place (in a Map Tour that doesn't use uploaded images, because you can't mix and match). One thing to check: if you are pasting the URL in, make sure there aren't any spaces at the end of the URL. If there are, Map Tour won't accept it. It is sensitive that way but we make allowances for it

Note: the image referenced by that URL is pretty big: over 2 meg. That is going to load slowly for your readers. If you are referencing images via URL, we don't optimize the images, like we do with uploaded images or images you pick from Flickr. Here's an FAQ about that; Esri Story Maps - FAQ
