Experience Builder Views Navigation default selected View

I’m using the Views Navigation widget in Experience Builder to allow a user to toggle between two Views. The first View is displayed when a user first enters the page; although it hasn’t technically been actively ‘selected’ by the user, we’d still like the first View to receive the “Selected” tab style upon entering the page so a user knows what View they are seeing. If a user clicks on the active View or clicks on the second View/back to the first View, it does show the “Selected” tab style.

Is this expected behavior, is there a different setting I should configuring, and/or could this be a bug?

This is expected behavior. In the Views Navigation widget, Default is defined as the tab state “without user interaction,” and Selected is defined as the “user selection of the tab” (that displays the corresponding view). So on initial page load, the first view can be showing, but its tab remains in the Default state until the user clicks a tab. There isn’t a setting to force the initial view’s tab to render as Selected.

What you can do:

* Make the Default tab style clearly indicate the initial/active view (since that’s the state used on first load).
* Ensure the correct view shows first by ordering views in the linked Section widget (the first view is the initial view).
