Hi all, I was looking at this article:

We currently use a lot of pro project maps stored on google drive, and for the most part, they seem to work fine. I don't think most of the scenarios listed here apply to us as we don't often have people trying to access the same files or projects in a way that would require workarounds. We use arcgis online or portal for services/files that are heavily used.
Mainly I'm asking about this because I was trying to organize our sde connection files. We have too many and I am wanting to clean things up and have a handful of master files that we can reference, in pro and for scripts and etl software. Plus the benefit is we would be to access these pro projects from any server or desktop machine without a problem (in theory), since the project is not looking for local connection files.
The issue is after seeing this article I'm not sure if its a good idea to put all our sde files on google drive, if its still the case that this is not recommended. But this article is a bit out of date at this point.
What is everyone else doing? Are you all putting your sde connection files on google or onedrive without any problems? If so I'd be interested in hearing about it.
