ArcGIS online pop up are not working in Experience builder app vs webmap after June update

@CWgis, thanks for letting us know the issue. To help us isolate the problem, could you try one of the following (whichever is easiest):

Add the same map in ArcGIS Dashboards and check whether the issue occurs there, or
Share a reproducible Experience Builder app with us.
Submit the issue to Esri Support.

I'm also experiencing this issue and would appreciate any update. I unfortunately do not have the power to create an Esri Support ticket. However, the issue does not reproduce for me in a new dashboard with the same map/data; I only see it in experience builder.

@JordanBrasher_mndot , could you share a repro sample?

Unfortunately, my organization disables sharing at the public level for all AGOL items, including experiences. I was able to get someone at my organization to open a support ticket on my behalf, though: case number #04211170.

In my initial testing, I not only did not reproduce the issue with a dashboard, I also reproduced the issue with multiple feature services/web maps and experiences, including one I created from the Experience Builder Basics training course on the Esri training site (i.e., Ottawa Cycling).

To reproduce, click on a feature in the map and notice that the title for the popup shows but the fields configured do not.

@Jianxia an update: I reproduce this only in Google Chrome. In Microsoft Edge browser, it doesn't reproduce.

@Jianxia @CWgis Clearing the cache in Google Chrome resolves the issue for me.

@Jianxia I saw this same issue today in all of my Experience Builder apps. As Jordan mentioned I cleared the cache in Google Chrome and the popups then worked. Also, they appear to work fine in Edge and Firefox.

All you would need to do to reproduce is zoom in and click on any parcel.

@JordanBrasher_mndot @BrianFausel , thank you for providing the repro samples. End users should not need to clear their browser cache. We are currently investigating it.

I ran into the same issue — the pop‑ups were not showing in Web Maps or Experience Builder after saving the web map in ArcGIS Pro. What worked for me was going back into Experience Builder and reapplying the symbology (style). Once I updated the style there, the pop‑ups started working correctly.

Here are four issues:

Issue1: Related records fail to display
I feel like it is the same as BUG-000186078 Related records in pop-ups load continuously and do not display when using a referenced feature service from Enterprise.
It has already been fixed. @CWgis

Issue2: Arcade expression doesn't display in popup
We need more time to investigate in it. So this issue will be fixed later. I will keep you updated.
The API team gave a workaround; please have a check. @BrianFausel

Change the URL in their Arcade script to "www.arcgis.com" or
Check their organization settings and revert if something changed with how you share access to your org.

Issue3: The title for the popup shows but the fields configured do not.

Thanks @Ke_Xu , I'll monitor this thread for updates.

The popup issue has been sporadic since this original post and so far only affects Google Chrome for me. I cleared my cache once a few weeks ago and then the popups worked again. Then I saw them stop working on a later day but then most other days it has been working fine. Today they are working as well. So far I only had to clear the cache one time two weeks ago.

As far as changing the Arcade script to www.arcgis.com -- I'm not sure if that will work for me but I can investigate it if the problem resurfaces. In my maps the Arcade popups reside in the hosted feature layer's visualization tab and the web map has the layer set as "All properties are stored in the source layer" (i.e. not in the web map itself). Then I use the FeatureSetByPortalItem to call other tables from the hosted feature layer using Arcade. I'd have to test to see if www.arcgis.com can take the place of how the code is currently set up:

Looks like the sample shown at this link references www.arcgis.com so perhaps it will be worth investigating.
