Generalized vs Standard Generate Drive Time Trade Areas

Question

Hi, I am using ArcGIS Pro 3.6 with 2025 BA Data for Desktop.

When I'm using this tool with to generate drivetimes with an expression input method, remove overlap on, generalized polygon detail, I'm getting significantly 'off' polygons in the output. But when I switch to standard polygon detail the tool outputs an accurate output that I would expect. Wondering if anyone else has ran into this or maybe it's a bug? I've tried on multiple datasets, various tool configurations, I think I narrowed it down to whether generalized has multiple values in the input or not.

A standard drive time trade area is built using precise road network data, calculating exactly how far a customer percentage of day traders who are profitable can travel within a specific time (e.g., 10 or 15 minutes), accounting for real-world factors like speed limits and road connectivity.
