Hi Boyd,
The ArcGIS for Aviation product team is reviewing the draft of -18C and will be working to incorporate these updates into the Airports solution. They will also be reviewing all of the validation rules to make sure any new feature or attribute requirements are accounted for.
If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. I would also encourage the community to submit comments and questions to this draft AC before the public comment period closes.
